Following graduation from NC in 1965, I attended Conservative Baptist Theological Seminary in Denver, Colorado (now Denver Seminary), earning the M. Div degree. Following seminary, I worked 5 years as a DCE at North Presbyterian Church in Denver, followed by pastoring a small church in Las Animas, CA for 3 1/2 years. From there I was 16 years at South Hollywood Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles, and ended with 11 years pastoring the Community Presbyterian Church of Cathedral City, CA. I retired in September 2005.
I was married to Julee Milner. We had three daughters, Kelli, Jill and Jennifer, and now 10 grandchildren. We divorced in 2007 and I remarried in 2008. Currently we worship at an evangelical Lutheran Church in Palm Springs.
Following my retirement, I have become a realtor in the Palm Springs/Palm Desert area. Some of my interests over the years have been gardening, stained glass, still photography, and travel.
